We've had a busy fortnight...!

Hello again from Dog School Dorset! So our last fortnight has been filled with exciting happenings (we expect this to be a theme)!

We’ve been to see the Dog School Bristol and watched the wonderful Sophia and Katie teach a puppy and an adult/rescue class.  Their lovely volunteer even brought along her dog Noodle for us to practice with!

We also visited Dog School London where the fantastic Tam and Marta made us very welcome.  They allowed us to take part in one of their classes with loaned Dogs Trust Harefield dogs Lilly and McDougal – they almost ended up coming home with us!

It was a very confidence building experience!  Every Dog School we have visited has been amazing!  They’ve all added their own individuality to classes and given us lots of ideas for our own classes!

Speaking of our classes, Dog School Dorset is pleased to announce we have our first venue booked, wahey!  It is Willowbed Hall in Chickerell, Weymouth, a lovely location with a big hall, good parking, disabled access and good outside space.  Classes start on Thursday evenings on 15th June, contact us now!

Head Coach Kat also carried out a 1-2-1 with lovely Dogs Trust rehomed dog Poppy whose owners needed some help with recall.  She was able to give lots of ideas to help them and we hope to see Poppy at classes very soon!

Keep watching for more updates or follow us on Instagram and Twitter to see how we are getting on as we set up our new school!
