Harry’s Journey of a lifetime

Meet Harry – the fabulous Cockerpoo!

The lovely Harry came to Dog School Sussex in February 2017. Since graduating from his 5 Week Adult Classes Harry has been showing off his new found skills around the world. This blog is of Harry’s exciting adventures!!

Harry's trip stopped in Bruges first night and  then on to Antwerp. The picture is the main square in Antwerp. He is loving all the attention as it seems cockerpoos are rare and especially dark brown ones. Off to Koblenz in the morning.

On his journey, Harry picked up some uninvited guests (ticks). It is important that when travelling abroad dogs, like Harry, are up to date with all of their flea/ wormer and vaccinations.

Having practiced the handling exercises learnt in the Dog School Adult Classes, Harry had all of those pesky ticks removed and was ready to head off to the next place!

Harry’s family stopped at lake Chiemsee  in  Bavaria and drove to Traunstien a lovely town neaby.

Harry met a very friendly Alsatian which he didn't want to leave. Fortunately Harry is now able to recall away from distracting situations after learning this at the training classes.

The picture is of Harry and Rita by lake Millstatter see in Austria.

Harry was keen to show us that it wouldn’t be a holiday without a nice bit of yoghurt!

The classes helped to teach Harry’s owners to ensure that Harry does not become worried around resources (something very tasty like this yoghurt pot). This means Harry is able to enjoy these extra holiday treats without any worries!!

What a fabulous story and we are loving the regular updates about Harry’s adventures!  Learning about you dog and training not only helps to build a strong relationship between you and your dog but may also help you to have an adventure of a lifetime around the world!!
